Checking Out at the Mall

This past Saturday the Inquirer had an article on a branch of the Camden County Library System, called Shelf Life, located in the Echelon Mall (right across from the Disney store). It is an interesting concept -- taking the library to the people, and a place with adequate parking, too. It's also nice to take a break between stores.

While shopping in the Echelon mall for the holidays I stumbled upon Shelf Life and can confirm that this is a very inviting place to stop for a break while shopping. The layout allows for a quick browsing of new books or a comfortable place for a break. It is bright and there is a kid friendly area that should appeal to those shopping with kids!

While I am discussing the Camden County Library system, I will also mention that I have gotten great use out of the free wireless connection that is available in most of the branch libraries. Check out their website for more details about wireless connections, locations of branches and other general information: http://www.camden.lib.nj.us/
